The labor movement is not something that is taught in school. Unfortunately, for many, joining a union is not an option. As an APWU-represented employee, you get to join a strong union that has existed since 1971. To learn more about the history of the APWU, click here. Gender Equality; Immigrant Rights; Workplace Safety; Civil Rights; Workplace rights; Retirement; Shared Prosperity; and Labor Law. All equally important, unfortunately, the struggle still continues.
